Tout au Sommet des Monts

Hello everybody!

Sorry the email is getting in a bit late, the connection dissapeared yesterday in all of yaounde which was fun, but it is back now. This week was pretty great!! My companion and I found a Coiffeur aka barber who is the friend of one of our members and he is sweet, he is bilingual which has been fun, we talk a bit in french and in English and he is really interested in learning. He just wants answers and he is one of the most sincere investigators that I have seen yet .We were there today in his salon to teach him and he taught him about Our Heavenly Father and he loved it, I can see him progressing very quickly. One day that was pretty fun was saturday.I got to go do a split with Elder Stephans in the English Branch and that was pretty different. One of the purposes of the split was to interview their baptismal candidates which was a very different experience than what I was used to.They all did so great and will be baptised on saturday with our 2 amis. Monday we had a zone activity where we hiked to the top of mont febe, the point where Elder Holland consecrated Cameroon. We had so much fun and at the top we all sang "tout au sommet des monts" or high on the mountain top which was pretty awesome. There was a filming group from England that randomly showed up right after us and got to witness 12 Elders belting out cantiques, they all really enjoyed it, after we hiked back down and hung out for awhile.
