Bonjour Tout le Monde!
This week was pretty busy! Tuesday was our zone conference which was really great! WE got to see President and Sister Monga and they instructed us on how to stay focused, concentrated and diligent as we are here preaching the gospel. We learned how to be more receptive to the spirit and we got some great advice for our sectors. One of the subjects that we saw immediately in our sector was “plan D”. As a missionary you always have a plan for each hour of the day, and a replacement plan. And our President councels us to have even a plan C as well. During the Conference he talked about the days where plan A, B, and C all fall through. He said that is the time to start looking for plan D. Plan Dieu (Plan God). Sometimes when we plan our day it is not really what we needed to do that day. He knows exactly what we need to do and where we need to go to accomplish His plan and that is exactly what happened to us on Thursday. We had our plans A-C fall through and we were walking to our next rendez vous when a man comes out of a building and runs us down. We stop and talk to him and he asks “Are you missionaries?” we said yes and his face started glowing, he said “I knew it, can you come talk to us?”. We said of course and went and found his sister and 2 others in a little tailoring shop. They were all so happy to see us and said they called us because we had passed by earlier and they wanted to know who we were, but didn’t have a chance the first time. The second time they knew they couldn’t miss out and sent the brother to chas us down. We started talking to them and presented ourselves and our message and started talking about the Plan of Salvation because they were really interested in it. We only talked about our life before this one when we lived in the presence of God, and they were soo amazed. The spirit was so stong and they understood everything. They were all saying that now this life makes so much more sense and has so much more importance because they know that we are not here by accident. Anyways we finished our lesson and planned to see them on Saturday. Both my companion and I walked away smiling. It was such an awesome miracle. Saturday the 4 that we talked to invited another 4 which turned into a lesson with 8 in a tiny little room talking about the Book of Mormon. They are incredible and it was definitely no accident that all of our plans fell through that day. Heavenly Father will always guide us where we need to be and always has a “Plan D” ready for us.
That was the major story of the week, but my companion and I are starting to have a good amount of success in our sector with some great amis.
That is about it for today! Thanks for all your love and prayers I am sure thankful for all of it!
Je vous aime tous!
