The Zone of Yaonde!
Bonjour tout le monde!
This week was incredible! It has only been 2 weeks with my companion, but it feels like we have already done 2 transfers together. We are a lot alike and we are getting some great work done in our sector. This week something awesome happened. So on Sunday I taught the investigators class lesson to our investigators and it was missionary work, and everybody committed to go out and invite someone to church. Well one amie, an older woman that we are teaching took that to heart, we show up to teach her and she says “wait one second I have to get my neighbors”. She goes next door and brings in the family next door! There wer e 6 adults in the family and a TON of kids. We introduced ourselves and they loved us. It was so great. We saw them twice this week and they are pretty motivated and ready. They are refugees from central africa and looking for a good church to join. It was such an awesome miracle finding them and they are so great.
Today we played soccer as a zone and as always it was hilarious. Our Zone was really changed in the last transfer, and we have some great missionaries here now. If you told me 2 years ago that I would be in yaounde Cameroon with Tahitians, Ivorians, Canadians, Madagascans and Congolese, I would never have believed you, but these guys are great! Our zone is going to keep moving forward and help the district become a stake.
Sorry the letter is a bit short we don’t have too much time today to write. Keep doing what you do! Have a great week!
I now have the nickname of Old Job (like the prophet) because I will have finished 1 year in the same sector.
Love you all!
