Bonjour Tout le monde!
I hope you guys are all doing well! This was a pretty good week and an awesome weekend for us! We are really progressing with the family of the sister we just baptized. Her sister told us, even if you have to come over everyday, I need to be baptized. That was pretty good news! This Saturday we had our Mormon Helping Hands service project for the district of Yaunde and it was a big success. We cleaned out the gutters of one of the really big intersections in the downtown. There were a ton of people that showed up and we got to shovel nasty garbage, plants, and a lot of unkown substances out of these gutters. It was pretty gross and didn’t smell good at all, but the people in the neighborhood were very grateful! Afterwards we returned very quickly to the apartment to change and get ready for our district’s baptismal service. My companion and I baptized the son of sister Carol (the sister who was just baptized) and there were another 4 from the other branches. It was a really great service.
Sunday was really special too. What I love about being here in yaounde is that everyone is a first generation member of the church. In our branch it is only a few primary kids who are born in to the church, everyone else are converts. It makes for a very awesome testimony meeting because everyone talks about their conversion stories and there testimonies. IT is really incredible being with these pioneers!
Anyways that is about it this week. We just played soccer as a zone, and we are pretty tired, so it is going to be a bit short today.
Je vous aime tous!!

I gave my camera to a member of our branch who was tasked to take pictures. He got a few good ones of me in the process.
