Elder Mongo and I reunited! :)
Bonjour tout le monde!
I hope everyone is doing great! For those who start school this week I am very sorry haha.
This was an ok week for my companion and I. We got to see some real progression in some of our amis. The sister that was baptised a few weeks ago had us start talking with her family and this Sunday her mom and sister showed up to church! They both loved it and said they want to be baptised! Getting amis to come to church is one of the hardest challenges that we face, but when they do come to church they feel the spirit and really really like it. We have a brother who we taught for months and he didn’t come to church once. One Sunday he walked into church 15 minutes late and stayed the whole time and since then he has hardly missed a Sunday at church. We are working with him so that he can be baptised soon. Our church is a little different than a lot of churches here. When they show up it is calm and they feel the spirit.
On Tuesday I went on a split with Elder Mbuyi, an Elder from DRC congo. It was pretty great! He is going home in October and it was pretty cool to see all of the experience that he has with teaching. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of work done.
That was about it for the week!
Je vous aime tous!
