Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there. I believe it was yesterday, but I am a bit out of the loop on american holidays, so if it was not yesterday sorry.

This week was a pretty interesting one for us. The cool part of the week is that the assistants came in from Brazzaville, Congo to go on splits and do interviews and all that fun stuff. We got to have Elder Legersky work with us and stay in our apartment and it was really awesome. He will be going home in August and has done an awesome job as assistant.

The work here is progressing pretty well. We have 2 amis with baptismal dates. The brother Maxim who I talked about last week is probably getting baptized on satuday if everything goes well. We also found another amie last week, sister Carol and she wants to get baptized too. We are planning the 2nd for her.

My companion and I started doing a mission prep for our branch and we hold it every Friday at 4:30 and it has been going really well. We have about 4-5 members who are preparing to leave for their missions this year or next year. 2 of them are my converts, which makes me super happy. We got to talk a lot about the missionary purpose and the importance of planning and making the most of your time as a missionary. They were pretty excited and now there are a few who want to go work with us pretty regularly which will be a really big help for us.
