Zone Conference and Transfers!

The Best Zone in the Mission!!

Bonjour tout le monde!

This week was pretty awesome because we had our Zone Conference with President Monga. Our mission is a bit interesting because there are 5 countries in the boundaries and missionaries in 3 of them right now. We are in cameroon and the office is in brazzaville, Congo, so we only get to see our president every 2 months or so. It is always so great when he visits though. We had a great zone conference on Tuesday and he taught us a lot that we need too do specifically for our zone in yaounde. Yaounde is currently a district with the goal of becoming a stake. There is so much work to do and President helped us focus on what is important to help advance the members and branches here.

Besides the zone conference my companion had a pretty great week! The rain was a bit interesting and came out of nowhere and we were trapped for about an hour and a half hiding in an abondonned house. We found a really awesome new amis who is a student of the really big university of Soa. He was super happy to see us and had a lot of questions about the Book of Mormon, so we got to talk to him about that and give him one and he was so happy. We will see how that goes. We also got to plan a marriage with 2 of our amis. IF everything goes well they will be married june 15th and be baptised shortly thereafter.

We also had transfers this week and I am still In Eleveur! I still haven’t changed since the beginning of my mission and it is totally fine with me. The branch that I am in is full of awesome members. There are just a few changes in our district, but it will be great.
