New Companion and District Conference

Bonjour tout le monde!

This week was great! I will start off by saying how awesome my new companion is! Elder Mongo is from DRC and was born and raised in the church and this week we got so much done. I am really excited to work with someone who has as much energy as he does. He really wants to work hard and be obedient and I am so grateful for that, and our sector has already improved this week. This was a pretty awesome week on top of getting my new companion. My mission president and his wife came into town to speak at the district conference, as well as the zone conference for us missionaries. He is so great and he is someone I could listen to for a long time. A theme that I really loved about the conference was the family. We were reminded exactly how important the family is and what we can do to strengthen the family. As a missionary I am here for the families. We know that there are so many blessings and protections that come from living the gospel as a family, and now I'm here to help people put it into practice.
